Readers Comments on To Mourn the Living
Patricia Barbe has written a powerful testament to God’s grace in the midst of pain in a family torn apart by false accusations. I kept thinking, What if that happened to me? How hard it would be to trust God. Let your heart be stirred by her story to turn over your anger and bitterness even when you don’t see the answer you hunger for.

Ultimately this is a story of a spiritual journey kbrought on by heart-breaking circumstances. But this is also a story of a criminal case gone terribly wrong, making this a good read for anyone in the Law enforcement or criminal justice field. Sometimes just doing your job is not enough.

This book was very emotional for me to read as I could relate to some of the agony Patricia and family went through. The best part of the book was to see her faith in God grow stronger as she found peace in Jesus Christ. I'm sure it was hard for her to write this book, but believe many will be touched by reading it.

I thought this book was a gripping testimony of faith. I'm outraged at the injustice and evil but elated Patricia and her family put their trust in God who reigns supreme over any circumstances we may experience on this earth.
